HALTON HILLS BULLDOGS WIN THE FOUNDERS CUP

MIMICO MOUNTIES PUSH DOGS TO THE BRINK

The Halton Hills Bulldogs win the Founders Cup, after a double overtime victory over the host Mimico Mountaineers. This is the first Founders Cup in the history of the Bulldogs' franchise. The final score was Halton 4, Mimico 3

This game will go down as an instant classic, witnessed by a capacity crowd at the MasterCard Centre. This was a great showcase and promotional tool for the sport of lacrosse across Canada.

In the Bronze Medal Showdown, the defending 2009 Founders Champion Calgary Mountaineers defeated the BC Champion Kamloops Venom by a score of 8 to 3.

In the Tier II BIC Cup Final , it was the Calgary Chill one-upping the Saskatchewan Swat by a score of 6 to 5.

BIC CUP AND FOUNDERS CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS SET

The final round robin games have been played and "Super" Saturday sees a slate of 8 games to be played at both MasterCard and Long Branch Arenas.

Ontario Champions Halton Hills Bulldogs finish atop of the Cormier Division with a perfect 5-0 record. The 'Dogs' get a bye to the Semi-Final, a 7:00pm start at Long Branch Arena(75 Arcadian Circle)

The Host of the Founders Cup, the Mimico Mountaineers also sport a 5-0 leading the Lang Divison after the round robin.

Day 3 of the Founders is in the record books with Halton Hills leading the Cormier Division with a Record of 4-0. Kamloops has also posted an identical 4-0 record. Key matchups today include Kamloops vs Mimico at 1pm.. This could determine the Lang Division winner of the round robin portion.
