The Mountaineers have a rich history of lacrosse, with the parent club celebrating their 120th Anniversary in 2010.  When the official game in Canada turned to box lacrosse in the early 1930s,  the Mimico Seniors captured the 1932 Mann Cup, played outdoors on the current site of Mimico Arena.

The association has won many provincial and national championships, evident of the many banners that hang from the rafters of the MIM!!

This will be the second occassion that the Moutaineers host the Founders Cup. In 1997, the Ms hosted a six team tournament, with the hosts bowing out to the eventual champion Six Nations  7-6 in Overtime.

2010 Record: 13-7: Eliminated by the Newmarket Saints 3 games to 1 in the first round, Ontario Junior B East Divison Playoff.
